  • The capsules are 1’ length. We recommend taking them with a glass of water. If you have difficulty swallowing you might try swallowing the capsules with a smoothie or apple sauce.

  • Our Fish Oil is safely secured in a sealed air-tight container to prevent light and oxygen exposure. Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. Refrigeration is fine but not required. Do not freeze, as this may cause the capsules to crack.

  • Our Fish Oil is delivered in the ethyl ester form. The ethyl ester form of Omega 3 is absorbed by endothelial cells of the intestinal lining, resulting in a slower, more sustained uptake of EPA and DHA, an advantage of this form of Omega 3.

As a biochemisty eye disease researcher, take it from me that you need fish oil in your diet, ESPECIALLY if you are at risk for inherited retinal degenerative disease! Everyone should be taking a good fish oil but I understand why a lot of people don't. Two words: FISH BURPS. Between that and big, hard to swallow pills, I haven't always taken fish oil myself, but I determined with the start of a new year to get my husband and myself back on track health-wise and that included a good fish oil supplement. I have been taking these for several weeks now and I can confirm that there are NO FISH BURPS with these!! They don't even smell fishy to me straight out of the bottle! There is no way I would ever know I was taking fish oil if someone were just handing these to me and I was taking them without ever seeing the bottle. The only way I would know would be the health benefits on the flip side! Whatever formulation they're using for these capsules to keep the fish in until they're far enough through the digestive system not to come back and haunt you really, REALLY works! Yes, they are large-ish capsules (see side by side comparison picture with a cold and flu gel capsule) BUT honestly swallowing these is a LOT easier than swallowing similar sized gel caps of another type. These are so soft and go down VERY smoothly. I haven't had any issues swallowing these and sometimes I do with other similar capsules. I can highly recommend this fish oil supplement, especially to those who are either new to fish oil or who have been burned by fish burps before and are hesitant to try again. My advice: TRY AGAIN WITH THESE! Hope this helps! And yes, I paid full price just like you.

    Just an honest review...

    I was looking for an eccentric coated Fish oil supplement that would compare to the Xymogen brand I've been taking. Let's be all honest here...with the rise in the cost of items, we all want to save money without compromising here and there.

    I have autoimmune diseases so for me it's important to make up for supplements that my biologic meds can take away on.

    This did not upset my stomach; the smell is NOT there for me. Definitely no fishy burps and the ingredients are spot on.

    Effectiveness? Not sure? I mean, I guess you only really know over a long period and your health habits. My purpose of use, as I said above, is mostly for my personal health and to fill in the gaps of my prescription meds taking away from me.

    Eccentric coated is definitely the way to go!

    I’ve been on this supplement for over a year now and I have to say it’s the best fish oil I’ve ever used. I take 4000 mg a day as prescribed by my doctor for lupus related dry eyes. It’s odorless. Works wonders on my joints and connective tissues as well. It’s great value for the money especially if you do the subscription option. It’s made of quality ingredients. I get 45 days worth of medicine for the price of one bottle and it’s worth every penny. Consistency is key with any supplement so make sure you take it every day. The pills are a decent size so take with lots of water. The capsule does go down easier than I would expect. I’ve never tasted fish after use either. I looked long and hard for a quality omega 3 supplement -this one is the best imo.

    I started using this product about a month or so ago and I wanted to wait till I had something to really say about the product.

    As the result of a car accident about 4 months ago I've been recovering from a broken neck and extensive spinal cord damage. Thanks to the grace of God and the fact I'm a tough SOB, I've gone from totally paralyzed to about 90% recovered. I still have some residual affects from the damage that I'm hoping won't be permanent. Cord damage can take years to fully heal. Since I'm not much for sitting idle, I want to do all I can to obtain 100% recovery as quickly as I can.

    I am currently taking 6 capsules a day and I experience no fish odor at any time or during any "function". I did experience fishy odor the first day when I took only 2 capsules but nothing since, even after doubling the recommended dosage.

    Is the Omega 3 Fish Oil helping me heal? It is truly difficult to tell since I am going thru therapy 3 days a week which includes dry needling but I believe so. My shoulders after the accident where very painful and had limited range of motion. Much of the pain is gone now as is the tendonitis in my left elbow and wrist. I'm not allowed to take any anti- inflammatory drugs since the fusion in my neck which has made sore joints, ligaments and muscles tough to deal with. Since starting to use the Omega 3, I've noticed a very real relief in these areas. Just sayin'.

    I like this product because it seems it was well thought out with enteric coating caps and the considerably high content of omega 3’s. 600 DHA and 800 EPA per 2 caps. I don’t take it really for my arthritis but I do take 3 caps witch works out to be 900 DHA and 1,200 EPA witch in my understanding makes for a good contribution towards a reasonable healthier cardiovascular health as well as bran health within reason though of course as I realized that these supplements also would work best with a relively good eating habits as well as a even just as little as going out for a 10 to 15 minute walk or preferably longer
    I try to get about 1 gram roughly of DHA per day in order to add to my overall wellness in many ways and I found this product was well thought out. All I have to do is get a roughly 600mg of ALA Alfa-lipoic-acid supplements (another kind of omega 3 found in mainly nuts and seeds)
    But as fare as I understand in Canada it’s harder to find a 600mg dose of ALA. they usually come in 100mg per per 1to 2 caps and at that much there’s not much of a therapeutic content in anything less then approximately 400mg and it’s really expensive. So I think I’m going to try to incorporate trying to eat a handful or 2 or mixed nuts per day ax another plus I guess. But yeah this is a good supplement and it’s got the food shippermens logo and the responsible shippermens logo as well witch I also think is important

    I like the shape of the pills, they are easy to swallow, no fishy smell or aftertaste. Fish oil alleviates my arthritis symptoms, even though it seems improbable. Used to order fish oil from the states and my arthritis didn't bother me for ten years.
